We are excited to announce that Ben is going to walk HIS FIRST MILE! The United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland is holding its own 5k race and 1 mile “Fun Run” on Sunday, April 21st at 9am. Ben has made such great progress from hip surgery just 20 months ago that we’re going to see if he can take on the challenge of a 1 mile walk.
Ben never gives up. He never gave up after his many heart surgeries. He never gave up when he couldn’t sit up, or stand, or walk. And he never gave up after his hip surgery. We’re pretty confident he’ll not want to give up walking a mile to raise awareness for United Cerebral Palsy and the many adults and children who benefit from their services.
Will you join us? It’s just $20 to register for the race… and its easier than a triathlon! Or if you’d like to donate to cheer Ben on, please do so here. Or just show up the day of the race and volunteer to cheer Ben on as he crosses the finish line!
Ben continues to make great strides because of the love and support of friends like you. We truly appreciate all you do for us and will continue to do.
See you at the finish line!
