Ben walks alone…

Or to put it more accurately, Ben is walking on his own! We haven’t communicated with our Team Benjamin friends since November but Ben has made incredible progress since that time. Recently Ben has started to take INDEPENDENT STEPS on his own. Without a walker. Without holding anyone’s hand. It started with two steps . . . then 5 . . . then 10 . . . and recently Ben has taken up to 20 steps on his own. A video of Ben walking at school is here.

This amazing milestone is more than four years in the making. Look for us to highlight this accomplishment as we push to raise money and awareness for United Cerebral Palsy again this year through the Cleveland Triathlon, which is scheduled for Sunday, August 8th.
